“You feel so much reinvigoration dripping all over your intrigued body, as you feel like you have just been saved by a kind and genuine soul.” (…) Showing us why her music has been so heavily streamed all over the globe, we find a truly soul-healing artist to believe in.” A&R Factory
“Music is a shelter, it’s a paralel universe I swim in. It’s how I connect with something bigger than myself.”
“Music has taught me how to express myself better and songwriting has had a healing effect on me. I realised that it’s by making music that I can share something valuable, lasting and be of help to others.”
After successfully releasing four new singles, she’s now starting a new era with her sophomore EP ‘spacetime’. It features five tracks: ‘no need to say goodbye’, ‘Journey’, ‘Satellites’, ‘Gone Away’ and a new song called “lavender fields”. ‘spacetime’ refers to space & time interwoven into a single continuum. The EP touches on the subjects of soul searching, self-worth, search for a place to belong, letting go, heartbreak, daydreaming and self-discovery. It’s a new sonic world, new visual universe and the beginning of a new chapter in the artist’s musical journey.
The artwork is filled with symbolism with references to all the songs featured on the EP (lavender, candle, hourglass, timeless objects). Feeling weightless, living in the present moment, rule over space & time (taking control over one’s life) and the symbol ∞ referring to the concept of limitlessness and eternity. The artwork itself has various references to Doctor Strange and Alice In The Wonderland.
The new song ‘lavender fields’ is a dreamy indie pop ballad, a heart warming story of unattainable love. It talks about an imaginary relationship, feeling delusional, wishful thinking and daydreaming. Self-produced and fully written by Camila Knight.
“It’s a comforting song for daydreamers and delulu enthusiasts.” “A dreamy, mesmerising soundscape that stimulates imagination paired with imagery-evoking lyrics”. “‘lavender fields’ is a song to slow dance to, possibly with a pillow in your arms and with eyes half-closed. A song to imagine better ends to our daily stories flying on the wings of imagination”.
“‘lavender fields’ is a haunting yet heart-warming Indie Pop/Bedroom Pop song. It slowly builds up starting with a minimalistic verse and chorus that leads to ecstatic bridge and last chorus. The song starts with a hypnotic guitar riff that takes you in from the very first seconds. It gives way to soft vocals, deep bass and breezy backing vocals. The first verse opens up to a dreamy pre-chorus featuring soft melodic guitar arpeggios and stardust synths. Then an atmospheric chorus comes in together with airy backing vocals, dreamy synths and warm beats. The chorus is then followed by an instrumental post-chorus with floating guitars and dreamy backing vocals. Afterwards, the second verse comes in enriched with staccato keys, rhythmic guitar picking, groovy beats and claps, which dynamise the arrangement and add both sweetness and character to the song. Then a stardust pre-chorus kicks in, opening up with stardust synths, frozen strings and sweet keys. It leads to an even wider and more atmospheric chorus with an anthemic melody, drum swells, breezy backing vocals, warm beats and haunting guitar riffs. The chorus gives way to a rhythmic bridge starting with a glorious instrumental part which makes you feel like setting out on a dreamlike odyssey. It features delicate fairy-like vocal runs. Almost gospelic, soulful vocals are enriched by old school synths, as well as groovy beats and claps. An almost anthemic melody kicks in characterised by powerful vocals accompanied by swirling fuzzy guitars, energetic beats and deep bass. Bridge opens up to the last chorus featuring rhythmic backing vocals, drum beats and fuzzy guitars. It suddenly goes quiet and the bridge gives way to the haunting guitar riff from the intro. The song ends with sweet guitar solos, picking bass pulling at your heartstrings, soothing backing vocals and wistful lead vocals.”
“I wrote this song on June 26th in 2022 when I went down with covid and could barely speak. Just came back from London. I was literally at my most vulnerable then feeling worried if I was going to get my voice back. It’s my first release of a song I wrote on the guitar. I loved every single bit of the creative process behind this song. On that day in June I was just strumming the guitar and the lyrics came together with the melody. When I recovered I played it to my bandmates and during my livestreams and people really loved it. For the demo I recorded the guitar in my home studio on Telecaster, then we recorded the drums in the studio (Jorge Gándara on drums) and my bass player, Freddy Lane added some warm & groovy acoustic bass. The demo was sitting in a project on Ableton for a year or so until I contacted Isaiah Jose who recorded incredible guitars that finally defined the character of the song. After that, I worked on the production myself adding in some warm beats, cosmic synths, haunting samples and some sweet keys. Then I sent it for mixing and mastering to the incredible Mike Dwyer who previously collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.
Writing this song felt like a ray of light in those dark times. It made me feel relieved, energised and hopeful once again”.

After successfully releasing first three singles from her upcoming EP, she’s now starting a new era with ‘Gone Away’. A new single and her first fully self-produced song, “Gone Away” is now available on all streaming platforms. It’s a high-spirited anthem of letting go, making necessary changes in life to be true to yourself. A call to stand up for yourself, let go of fear and worry. Finding the light and positivity even in the darkest moments and believing in good times ahead.
“It’s a perfect song to start off a New Year with a liberating energy and motivation boost. Letting go of any fear that used to hold us back and beliveing that every day is a new chance to make things right and live according to our truth.” “‘Gone Away’ is a song to dance-cry-scream to, stirring up a cathartic feeling of freedom and joy. Leaving behind the past and starting a new chapter.”
‘Gone Away’ is an Alt-Pop fused Soul-Pop song. Rhythmic minimalistic verses contrast with powerful choruses. The song starts with stardust rhythmic synths that give way to atmospheric breezy backing vocals, a rhythmic bass and warm beats. The intro opens up to the first verse featuring groovy bass and commanding vocals enriched with soft melodic guitar arpeggios. Then a powerful chorus melody comes in together with airy backing vocals, dreamy synths and vibrant drums. The chorus is then followed by an instrumental post-chorus with floating guitars and soulful backing vocals . Afterwards, the second verse comes in enriched with staccato violas, groovy beats and claps, sounds that dynamise the arrangement and add both sweetness and character to the song. Then a wide atmospheric chorus kicks in, opening up with an anthemic melody, powerful vocals, breezy backing vocals, haunting guitar riffs, horns and dramatic staccato strings. The chorus gives way to a rhythmic bridge building to gang vocals which make you feel like taking to the streets. Almost gospelic, soulful vocals are enriched by old school synths, as well as groovy beats and claps. Accompanied by deep bass that leads to the final, ecstatic chorus featuring fierce lead vocals, big drums, floating synths and strings, deep bass and lots of rhythmic atmospheric backing vocals. The song ends with the rhythmic bass, brass & wind and a strong statement “nothing will stop me now” on an echoing note.
“I wrote this song two years ago. I finally decided to bring it to light. The lyrics came together with the melody. I wrote it in parts in my home studio on my old Casio keyboard, just laying down the chords and singing along. The song came out very jazzy and soulful, with syncopated notes and lots of 7th notes. I showed it to my bandmates and they really liked it. So we decided to record it in the studio. For the first time ever I worked on the production on my own in my home studio. After trying out different sounds, playing around with the beats and plug-ins, the music production took me slightly more than one week. In the last stage, I decided to strip it down, cleaning the production up and erasing unnecessary sounds, trying to make it as consistent and minimalistic as possible. Then I sent it for mixing and mastering to the incredible Mike Dwyer who previously collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.
I wrote this song and felt that it was special. The song came at a tough moment and I guess I was looking for a way to raise my spirits. Songwriting can be the most therapeutic and cathartic thing ever. And that’s what it is for me. A medicine for the soul and a troubled mind.”

After successfully releasing first two singles from her upcoming EP, she’s now starting a new era with ‘Satellites’. A new single and one of her most honest and fiercest songs to date, “Satellites” is now available on all the streaming platforms. It’s a cheeky anthem of girl power, self-worth and confidence. It’s a call to stand up for yourself and to never let anyone or anything bring you down. It’s a reminder that you can withstand all the storms in your life and relationships.
“This song is something bigger than myself. It’s a cosmic anthem of women empowerment and not letting negativity in your life.” “‘Satellites’ is a song to scream at the top of lungs. It’s a movement. An awakening. To a realisation that you’ve got the right to choose what’s best for you, not following the accepted social standards. It’s about finding the positivity in your life and striding away from negative people and toxic relationships.”
‘Satellites’ is a modern alt-pop song mixing in elements of indie pop, dance pop and synth pop. Minimalistic verses contrast with big powerful choruses. The song starts with a stardust swelling synth that gives way to atmospheric breezy vocals, a rhythmic bass and warm beats. The first verse opens up to a pre-chorus enriched with soft melodic guitar apreggios. Then a powerful, rhyhtmic chorus melody comes in together with deep bass, vibrant drums and atmospheric synths. The chorus is then followed by a spacious post-chorus with anthemic backing vocals and floating guitars. Afterwards, a delicate verse comes in enriched with distant spicatto violin sounds that dynamise the arrangement and add both sweetness and character to the verse. Then a majestic chorus kicks in opening up with an anthemic melody, powerful vocals and dramatic legato strings. Then a rhythmic post-chorus kicks in building to gang vocals which make you feel like taking to the streets. The latter leads us to an intimate bridge accompanied by sublime strings that gives way to the final, ecstatic chorus featuring big drums, floating synths and strings, deep bass and lots of atmospheric fierce backing vocals. The song ends with a strong statement “no you won’t bring me down” on an echoing note with the running synths fading out.
“I wrote this song this February after I was approached by Ian Barter, part of the Universal Music Publishing Group and who previously worked with Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Gabrielle Aplin, Gabrielle, Rhys Lewis and other notable British artists. The lyrics came together with the melody. I wrote it in a day in my bedroom on my mini keyboard, just laying down the chords and singing along. Intitally I wanted to work with Ian Barter on my previous demo songs but when I came up with the melody for ‘Satellites’ I felt that this is the song I want to produce first. The day after, I recorded a demo of it in my home studio and sent it to Ian on the same day. Fell in love with the production when I first heard it. We mixed it and then, the song was mastered by Mike Dwyer that collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.
I wrote this song and knew in my bones that it was special. The song came from a feeling I had many times during my travels to different countries, observing social conventions, unhealthy toxic relationships, patronising behaviours towards women.”
“Satellites” is now available on all the streaming platforms.

After releasing her debut EP “Uplifted” in 2022, which has gathered over 150k Spotify streams, she has begun a new era with “no need to say goodbye”, the first single from her sophomore EP. A new single and one of her most personal songs, “Journey” is now available on all the major streaming platforms. It’s an anthem of self-discovery and soul searching. It’s a song about an unsettling urge to make a change in life. It talks about making tough decisions, choosing the right direction in life and finding the place where you feel you truly belong. It’s a song about feeling lost, misunderstood, losing your way, and in the end finding yourself again.
‘Journey’ is an alt-pop song mixing in elements of electropop, art pop, dreampop and synth pop. Minimalistic verses contrast with big powerful choruses. The song starts with atmospheric breezy vocals and a running synth that gives way to delicate beats and dreamy vocals. Then a powerful, rhyhtmic chorus melody comes in together with deep bass and vibrant drums. The chorus is then followed by a post-chorus with atmospheric, lush backing vocals creating a sense of spaciousness. Afterwards, a delicate verse comes in enriched with distant organic sounds that recall nature, its liveliness and vastness. Then a majestic chorus kicks in opening up with an anthemic melody and spacious backing vocals. The latter leads us to an intimate bridge that gives way to the final, ecstatic chorus featuring big drums, floating dreamy keys, strings, powerful bass and lots of atmospheric backing vocals. The song ends with an echoing note and synths fade out.
“I wrote this song in September 2021. The lyrics came first, then I sat down at the piano and came up with the melody. I wrote the lyrics at night in my old apartment. I put down all my thought and feelings from that day. I felt I needed some kind of change in my life, especially when it comes to the place I lived. That year I finally moved out from the old apartment. But that feeling stayed with me. A restlessness, uneasiness, an urge to keep looking for the right place, self search. I wrote this song and knew in my bones that it was special. I started rehearsing it with my band and then played it acoustically on Twitch. Recorded a demo in my home studio and then at the beggning of October 2022, we finally went to the recording studio to record drums (Jorge Gándara). Shortly after, I laid down the vocals. Afterwards, I recorded some of my production ideas. I worked on the production and mixing/master remotely across the continents. First, the wonderful Kate Brunotts created a production draft. Then, the song was produced by the amazing Pete White and was mixed/mastered by Mike Dwyer that collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.”
‘Journey’ is now available everywhere.

After releasing her debut EP “Uplifted” on May 20th which has gathered over 150k Spotify streams, she’s beginning a new era with her single “no need to say goodbye”. It’s the first single of the new EP. It’s a song about a heartbreak, a hope, a belief that better times are ahead. It talks about overcoming troubles in a relationship and elsewhere in life, feeling vulnerable and not giving up. It’s also about taking a step back to reassess instead of acting hastily and in the end making it through rough times. It’s one of the most honest songs she’s released so far.
“no need to say goodbye” is a contemporary pop song that blends in indie rock, folk, singer/songwriter with indie-pop influences. Minimalistic verses contrast with big powerful choruses. The song starts with a hook consisiting of scattered vocals, deep synth and bass, which give way to washed out piano. Then a dreamy, almost ethereal chorus melody comes in followed by a rhythmic verse and a playful pre-chorus. Afterwards, a powerful chorus kicks in opening up with an anthemic, festival ready melody. The latter leads us to a short intimate verse that gives way to an emotional, rhythmic bridge that culminates with a smooth passage to the final, ecstatic chorus featuring big drums, floating dreamy keys, bass and guitars. The song ends with the “we don’t” playful hook.
“I wrote this song in mid-August 2022 building it up on an initital idea that I had for a chorus melody. I composed it on my old piano in my cosy basement studio adding in the melody for the verses and lyrics. After some alone time and roughly two songwriting sessions the song was ready. As soon as I finished it I played it acoustically on Twitch and then started rehearsing it with my band. Recorded a demo in my home studio and then at the beggning of October 2022 we went in the recording studio to record drums (Jorge Gándara). Afterwards, I worked on the production and mixing/master remotely across the continents. The song was produced by the wonderful Isaiah Jose and was mixed/mastered by the amazing Mike Dwyer that collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.”

Organic sound, live instruments married with the modern production elements. There are dreamy, surreal verses filled with a vivid imagery followed by heart-warming pre-choruses (‘Home’, ‘Brave’) leading up to explosive, rhythmic choruses (‘Angels’, ‘In My Mind’). Topped off by well-structured bridges that add up to rich harmonics and lead to wide last choruses (‘Brave’, ‘Familiar Places’). Bold production with catchy hooks, intimate arrangements, heartfelt vocals and emotive storytelling is Camila Knight’s landmark and signature.
“I wrote music and lyrics for ‘Home’, ‘In My Mind’ and ‘Brave’ during lockdown. It has been a very creative period for me. I wrote those songs thinking of my loved ones, my family and friends. Trying to raise their spirits and give them strength in those unsettling times. ‘Angels’ was the first song that I felt was ready to be shared with the world and it led to the creation of the ‘angelic community’. Lyrics to “Familiar Places” came to me through stories of my friends. I worked on the production and mix across the continents, between Europe, UK and Los Angeles, US. I feel blessed to have collaborated with wonderful, gifted people on this record. “Uplifted” came to life thanks to incredible, continuous support of my community.”
